Whether you’re writing stories, poetry, scripts, comics, lyrics, personal pieces or simply filling a notebook with ideas, sessions are tailored to the writer and their interests.
You don’t need to know what you want to write before you begin. Sometimes the best place to start is simply:

Inkblots: $45 online | $60 in person: 45 minutes
Ideal for: ages 8+, beginners and curious creatives.For beginners, younger writers and anyone who wants to explore creative writing without pressure.
Pouncing $60 online | $80 in person: 60 minutes
For writers who have ideas but need help turning them into something more developed. Bring along something you’re working on, or start something completely new. Ideal for: students, developing writers and anyone stuck somewhere in the middle of a project.
Blotting: $90 online | $120 in person: 90 minutes
For writers ready to develop a substantial creative project or body of work. This is a deeper, project-focused space where we can spend time creating, reviewing, rewriting and refining. Ideal for: emerging writers, portfolio development and students working on substantial projects.
A Space to Experiment
There are no marks, no red pens and no single “right” way to be creative. DoodleHaus tutoring is about developing the skills to express an idea clearly while discovering what makes your writing yours. We’ll look at what works, experiment with what doesn’t, and find ways to make your ideas stronger without taking away your individual voice.
